Assess the current condition of your hair. Is it healthy, shiny and smooth, or has it been damaged from heat, sun, coloring, etc? You don't want to grow out hair that is damaged and scraggly. Scalp massages did it for me. I applied a hair dressing that contains natural herbs, and vitamins three times a week.
I have noticed a lot of new growth, and I still continue to message my scalp.

Since hair is basically protein, make sure you enough protein in your diet!! Also, eat lots of green and orange vegetables because they contain beta-carotene which is essential to hair growth.

Avoid taking medication/birth control [unless you really have to]
